Okay, 48 minutes into the debate and I WAS only annoyed (mostly) with Brokaw. What a tool.
HowEVER, at 8:49, John McCain just referred to Obama as "that one" with a point. Just call him "Darkie." You know you want to.
A wish: Obama starts every rebuttal with, "Senator Viagris, here's how what you just said is bullshit..."
8:57: YAY OBAMA! He just basically told Brokaw to blow him and he'd use the time he needed to respond to McCain's b.s. accusations regarding healthcare. "There were a lot of assertions, Tom. I'll take the time I need to respond to them."
9:08: "Our most precious assets"? McCain wants to protect our young people by sending them into warwarwar? What...where? Who?
9:12: Every time McCain says "Taliban", I hear Calypso music in my head.
9:17: Unless this thing devolves into a slap fight, I'm totally bored and moving on with my evening.
Verdict: YAWN.
